It is the only combat axe with a cleave stat and actually starts cleaving 2-3 targets with normal attacks at 50% even without the blessing. You basically trade dmg for defence (%75dmg reduction from crits is the best "toughness ability" for zealot) and bleed stacks if you use the tactical axe.
